For landowners

Your land, your rate,
your call on every visit.

You have ground that does nothing between harvests. There are people who will pay for a day on it and leave it exactly as they found it. The hard part was never the money, it was trusting the stranger.

What listing gives you

You set the rate

Not us, and not the market. Decide what a day on your land is worth and change it whenever you like.

You approve every request

They arrive by name with verification status attached. Accept, decline, or leave it. Block dates around calving, harvest, hunting season or anything else.

Your address stays private

The public sees an approximate area. The exact boundary, the entrance and any access notes go only to somebody you have accepted, for the days you accepted.

Identity verified before booking

Every detectorist is checked against a government document before they can request anything, and every one accepts a code covering gates, crops, livestock and leaving no trace.

Finds on your terms

The written agreement carries whatever you decide. An even split by value, everything shown to you first, or nothing leaves at all.

Paid after every visit

Money is taken when they book and released to your bank once the visit is marked complete. Track it all from one dashboard.

The honest part

What we do not
do for you.

We do not insure your land and we do not underwrite a claim. If somebody damages something, we suspend their account, hand you the signed agreement and the booking record, and put you in direct contact so you can pursue it. Pursuing it is yours to do, and your own liability cover should stay in place exactly as it is now.

We are also not going to pretend detecting is risk free. People dig holes. What the platform gives you is a name, a verified identity, a written agreement and a record of who was on your land and when, which is considerably more than the person who knocks at the door has.

The full terms are in the Landowner Agreement.

Common questions

Do I have to be there?

No. Most owners are not. You can require it if you would rather, and say so in the listing.

What if I only want to try it once?

Allow one day, see how it goes, and take the listing down. There is no commitment and no exclusivity.

Can I stop somebody mid visit?

Yes. Permission can be withdrawn at any time, including while they are on the land, and they are obliged to leave promptly.

Is this taxable income?

Yes, and it is yours to declare. We report payouts where the law requires and give you a summary for your records.

What about land I rent out?

Check the tenancy first. If a tenant has the farming rights, the decision may be theirs rather than yours.

Who is liable if somebody gets hurt?

Every detectorist accepts a risk waiver before their first booking, confirming they are responsible for their own safety. That does not replace your own cover.

Ten minutes to list. Nothing to pay, ever.

We take a service fee from the booking, never from you.
