01On the land
Detect only where and when you have booked. Stay inside the boundary shown in the app.
Leave gates as you found them. Do not cross growing crops. Keep away from livestock and never let a dog near them.
Cut a neat plug, put the soil back, tread it down and leave the surface so nobody can tell you were there. Fill every hole before you move to the next signal, not at the end of the day.
Take your trash out, and take out the trash you dug up as well.
Do not detect near buildings, wells, utility markers or anything that looks like a pipeline route. If you hit something that could be ordnance, stop, mark it, leave it and call the authorities.
02With landowners
Turn up when you said you would, or cancel properly. Tell the landowner what you found before you leave, whether or not the agreement gives them a share.
Do not ask a landowner to take the booking off the platform. The written agreement is the thing that protects you if a dispute ever arises, and going around it removes it.
Do not pressure a landowner about access, price, or bringing extra people.
03On the platform
No false identity, no second account, no listing land you do not control.
No scraping, no automated booking, no attempt to work out the exact location of land you have not booked.
No abuse, harassment or discrimination toward anyone, in messages or on the land.
04What happens if you break it
A first minor slip usually gets a conversation. Damage to land, misleading a landowner, going around the platform, or anything that puts a person or an animal at risk gets the account closed, and if the land was damaged we will pass your details to the landowner so they can pursue it.
