Delete your
account.
You can close your account whenever you like, from the app or by email. Here is exactly what goes and what has to stay.
In the app, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. It asks you to confirm and then it is done. If you cannot get into the app, email hello@fieldfinders.us from the address on the account and we will do it within seven days.
- Deleted immediately
- Your profile, your photographs, your saved land, your messages and your finds log.
- Deleted after twelve months
- Your identity verification result and the account record itself.
- Kept for seven years
- Bookings and payments. Tax and accounting law requires it and we cannot delete them on request.
- Kept indefinitely
- Nothing else.
If you have land listed, take the listing down first so nobody books a day you will not be there for. Any confirmed booking still has to be honoured or cancelled, and cancelling refunds the detectorist in full. The rest is in the Privacy Policy.
